Professional Floor Sander & Timber Floor Installer
We are specialists in Timber Flooring, and most of our work is in sanding and finishing timber floors for high end clients, which requires an excellent attention to detail and a good work ethic.
Required Experience:
At least two years floor sanding experience
Basic Carpentry Skills
Installation and repairs of all types of timber flooring including top-nailed, secret nailed and and engineered floor boards
Experience with general power tools
Preferred Experience:
Bleaching, staining and lime washing of timber floors
Installation and repairs of parquetry flooring
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
Drum Sanding
Edging
Fine sanding with hand sander, hand tools and buffer
Bleaching, staining and painting
Coating with all types of finish including natural oil, hard wax, and water-based polyurethane.
Moving Furniture and lifting machinery
Installation of Solid and engineered timber flooring
Repairs of floor boards
Removal and installation of trims and skirtings
Rubbish removal
Vacuuming, cleaning and packing away tools
Driving company van to job site
Supervise Jobs
Excellent Time management
Reliable and on time
Clean and tidy appearance
Excellent Work Ethic
Current Open Drivers License (Class C)
Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team
Excellent communication skills
Good level of English (IELTS level 6 or above)
Eager to Learn and improve skills
Excellent attention to detail
